Job description

Head of Operations

As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's retail business.

You will be responsible for managing KPIs, developing strategies to increase efficiency, sales, quality of services, security, and reduce losses.

Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service will be paramount in maintaining the high standards expected by their customers.

You will also act as a key liaison with various stakeholders, coordinating efforts across departments to achieve agreed targets.

Your ability to manage costs effectively while meeting set milestones for store openings, revenue, and costs will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all aspects of retail business operate smoothly, adhering to both HQ SOP & Local Policy.
  2. Manage KPIs and focus on improvement efforts to meet target goals.
  3. Use KPI data to analyze, develop, and optimize strategies and processes.
  4. Maintain consistent and exceptional standards of customer service in all stores.
  5. Act as a key domestic liaison with all stakeholders including employees, landlords, suppliers, service providers, and other parties.
  6. Coordinate efforts of other relevant departments to achieve targets.
  7. Implement the business plan and meet milestones in store opening, revenue, and costs.
  8. Manage costs efficiently, prepare budgets, and minimize variances against forecasts.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Retail Operations management, including:

  • Proven experience in Retail Operations management.
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to manage KPIs effectively.
  • Experience managing large-format, multi-store systems.
  • Ability to navigate government bodies and compete with major retail players.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build and maintain relationships.
