Key Accountabilities
Operational Excellence :
Maintain performance, reliability, and availability of IT infrastructure.
Promptly resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
Lead and mentor the infrastructure team, promoting collaboration and high performance.
Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
Infrastructure Maintenance :
Oversee routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades for servers, networks, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
Identify and mitigate potential risks or vulnerabilities proactively.
Project Management :
Manage infrastructure projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with other departments to align infrastructure initiatives with business needs.
Cloud Strategy :
Oversee migration, integration, and management of cloud-based systems according to LRMG's cloud strategy.
Evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Security and Compliance :
Collaborate with the Security Officer to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard against cyber threats.
Vendor and Resource Management :
Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Allocate resources efficiently and monitor budgets.
Reporting and Documentation :
Generate performance reports and analyses for management.
Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure processes, configurations, and updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Deep understanding of servers, networks, cloud platforms, and storage systems, including Microsoft hybrid environments, VMware, SharePoint, Veeam, Azure, AI, Mimecast, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, DNS, DHCP, SSL, domains, and business applications.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and threat prevention.
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues.
Experience in project and vendor management.
Leadership skills to guide and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and organizational needs.
Qualifications and Experience :
A relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Certifications in Azure, Microsoft Server, VMware, Cisco (CCNA / CCNP), and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum).
6-10 years of experience managing IT infrastructure in small to medium organizations, with proven project implementation skills.
