Job Title: Personal Assistant to the MD

Our client is seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant to the MD of a large company.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the MD's efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of responsibility. This role requires a proactive individual with strong project management capabilities, exceptional administrative and logistical skills, and a high level of emotional intelligence.

Anticipating needs, managing priorities, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations are critical to success in this position.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Senior certificate (NQF 4)
  • 5 - 7 years experience in a similar support role
Requirements
  • SA citizen
  • Code B driver's license and own reliable transport
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel
  • Available outside regular office hours and able to respond on short notice
  • Handle personal matters and errands as needed
Capabilities & Competencies
  • Efficient admin & proactive project support
  • Professional management of the MD's calendar, correspondence, and documentation
  • Organising meetings and taking/distributing accurate minutes
  • Logistics and travel arrangements, including for personal and family needs
  • Reconciliation and reporting skills, especially regarding invoices and data
  • High level of discretion with sensitive information
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • Calm under pressure and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Organised filing systems and high-quality output in presentations/documents
