OUR SCHOOL : Reddam House Helderfontein is a premier private school situated in the picturesque Helderfontein Estate Valley, surrounded by the leafy suburbs of Dainfern, Fourways, Lonehill, and Broadacres.

ROLE SUMMARY : To adopt a holistic view of students in their care, promoting their overall progress and well-being. To create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons. Establish a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Maintain professionalism in punctuality, behavior, work standards, and homework. Reflect on and refine teaching practices. Engage in ongoing professional development. Create high-quality resources for students. Respond to parent communications within 24 hours. Demonstrate loyalty to Reddam House. Attend school events as required. Conduct assessments and write report comments. Perform any other duties assigned by the School Head or line manager.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR : Ability to set clear expectations and goals. Adaptable teaching style with receptiveness to feedback. Deep understanding of relevant subjects. Ability to assess learning effectiveness. Excellent planning skills. Experience in evaluating student outcomes and providing constructive feedback. Genuine care for student welfare. Proven experience teaching EGD and CAT to Grade 12. At least 3 years of teaching experience within the school phase. Experience with IEB programs. University degree in relevant subject. Certified Teaching Status / SACE. Valid right to work.
