Are you a seasoned Sales Executive or Key Account Manager with 8 years of experience selling Banking Software Solutions? Here is an excellent hybrid opportunity for you in Cape Town.

Duties & Responsibilities

My client specializes in Software Solutions for the Banking industry, including ATMs, branch solutions, managed services, digital banking, mobile banking, networking, and communications.

The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with banks, ensuring they receive the best software and service solutions while driving sales and business growth for the company. They will also identify new opportunities to enhance bank operations using innovative banking technology.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

  • Manage the overall relationship between the client account and the software-owning company, developing and managing strategic account relationships.
  • Manage business results in the account as if operating their own business, while acting in the best interest of the company and the client.
  • Responsible for the overall business with the account(s): work with colleagues to develop and implement an account plan to maximize value for both the customer and the company.
  • Ensure overall customer success and satisfaction.
  • Drive opportunities that improve results (revenue growth, cost reduction, and enhanced client experience) aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications / Skills :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a financial or technical discipline is required; strongly preferred.
  • At least 8 years of related sales experience, preferably in the financial industry selling software solutions.
  • Proven success in solution sales, especially with major accounts.
  • Ability to articulate the value of complex solutions in technical terms supporting customer experience platforms.
  • Ability to overcome sales barriers and initial technology hurdles to close business.
  • Strong teamwork and proactive leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including active listening, creative thinking, and presentation skills.
  • Track record of attaining sales quotas and developing new account opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills :

  • Understanding of the financial industry or similar applications and technologies.
  • Experience selling software/applications such as ATMs, branch solutions, managed services, digital banking, mobile banking, networking, and communications.
