About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the financial operations of our organization. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, overseeing operational efficiency, and ensuring the company's financial health as we scale. This is a fully remote position and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
3. Manage cash flow, accounting, audits, financial reporting, and compliance.
4. Oversee risk management, cost control, and internal financial controls.
5. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership based on financial analysis and projections.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to support financial decision-making.
7. Establish and manage KPIs to measure financial and operational performance.
8. Supervise and mentor finance and accounting teams (internal or outsourced).
9. Interface with investors, auditors, legal advisors, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience (8+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in high-growth or startup environments.
2. Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance.
3. Experience with SaaS, e-commerce, or service-based businesses is a plus.
4. CPA, MBA, or equivalent financial certification preferred.
5. Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, financial modeling platforms).
6. Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
7. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
