Job description

Internal Stakeholders: Sales Administration, Plant Supervisors, Area Managers, General Manager
External Customers: Existing and potential customers

Role Overview

To serve as a liaison between customers and the company by identifying and contacting current and prospective clients, generating ready-mix sales solutions, and servicing customers to ensure satisfaction, quality, and consistency of service and product.

Required Qualifications
  • Grade 12 Certificate with Maths (National Dip / BCom / BA Degree or studying towards would be an advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry - Ready-Mix
  • Good knowledge of sales and advertising techniques
  • A good team player with a high level of dedication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
Experience

5 years related experience

Special Requirements
  • Possess a valid driver's license (Code B)
  • Serve as liaison between the Sales department and Customers
  • Identify and contact current and new prospective clients
  • Generate sales proposals and service existing accounts to ensure quality and consistency
  • Generate reports for Senior Management on sales activities and other requirements
  • Respond to customer complaints and provide after-sales support
  • Inform customers of delays or problems
  • Monitor sales team progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements
  • Organize marketing events
  • Ensure a healthy IR climate
