Great Library Design Studio - Job Opportunity

Great Library Design Studio is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and passionate designer, ideally with experience in the luxury product industry. It is essential to have a strong sensibility for materiality and design related to concept development and product fabrication.

This role involves working closely with architects and interior designers on various projects, including custom furniture, lighting collections, objects, and hospitality designs.

You are :

• BA / MA in interior architecture, interior, or product design.
• Experienced in product design and development.
• Skilled in 3D modelling software (Fusion, 3Dsmax, Blender, or similar) and rendering software (Vray, Keyshot, Corona, etc.).
• Knowledge of SketchUp is a bonus.
• A team player with clear communication skills, capable of working closely with team members.
• Understanding of construction and materiality.
• Hands-on furniture making experience is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of luxury, high-end furniture, and product design.
• Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.

You will :

• Work directly with our Antwerp-based team on projects in Belgium and abroad.
• Assist interior designers in meeting project deadlines, handle correspondence, and coordinate tasks.
• Sketch new concepts and design custom pieces in collaboration with the team.
• Participate in all project phases: defining client needs, conceptual design, development, and project management.
• Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct quality control inspections with a critical eye.

Additional Requirements :

• Bachelor degree or higher.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
