Title : Office Automation Technician (1 On site and 1 Remote)

Location : Mt Edgecombe

Job Type : Full-Time / Permanent

Salary : Competitive, based on experience

Position Overview :

The Office Automation Technician (On site or Remote) will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of office automation equipment and software. Youll work closely with our IT team to ensure that all automated systems run smoothly and efficiently, helping to optimize daily operations in various office environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, configure, and maintain office automation systems (e.g., printers, copiers, fax machines, multi-functional devices).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with office equipment and automation systems.
  • Provide technical support to staff on automated office tools and software.
  • Regularly update software and firmware on automation devices.
  • Ensure optimal system performance by performing routine maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for automation improvement.
  • Assist with training office personnel on using new automation systems and tools.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records for service and maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Proven experience as an Office Automation Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of office automation systems and equipment.
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of office machinery.
  • Solid understanding of network systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Technician) are a plus.
