Job Description: Territory Account Executive at Elastic

The Role

Elastic is seeking a dynamic Territory Account Executive to expand our presence within customer accounts and develop new opportunities across Sub-Saharan Africa. You will collaborate with our key distribution partners to drive sales and related activities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about empowering companies through cutting-edge search technology and analytics, enabling them to unlock their data's full potential.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions within new enterprise accounts and deepen engagement with existing strategic accounts.
  2. Position yourself as a trusted advisor, helping users harness Elastic's search analytics to transform data into actionable insights.
  3. Promote our Open Source offerings, articulating the value of our commercial features.
  4. Identify and develop new use cases demonstrating how Elastic's solutions improve efficiency and intelligence.
  5. Collaborate with various teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  6. Proactively seek new business opportunities, navigating complex sales cycles.
  7. Develop a business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive growth in your territory.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in SaaS subscription sales, especially in complex accounts, with quota overachievement and strong references.
  • Experience or understanding of selling solutions related to Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud.
  • Experience partnering with channel partners.
  • Ability to build relationships with developers and executives.
  • Accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.
  • Enthusiasm for the Open Source model and community engagement.
  • Experience selling into enterprise accounts within the territory.
Bonus Points
  • Experience selling within an Open Source model.
