Key Purpose

To effectively and efficiently manage and grow relationships between Discovery CEB and all stakeholders (e.g., brokers, servicing department, quotes, accounts, claims, underwriting, franchises, broker consultants, clients).

To ensure quality service delivery to these stakeholders.

To be present in brokers' offices to promote and protect Discovery's retirement fund business.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with CEB clients.
  • Resolve problems efficiently and effectively, minimizing relationship damage.
  • Prepare agenda packs and minutes for client meetings.
  • Arrange meetings with brokers and employers as needed.
  • Meet with the new business team to address portfolio queries before client meetings.
  • Arrange meetings or calls to address escalations.
  • Present installation and onboarding meetings, explaining documents, SLAs, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Present admin changes, explain documents, rate changes, issue minutes, and processes.
  • Monitor, communicate progress, feedback, or resolution regarding queries.
  • Review admin reports for broker and trustee meetings.
  • Assist brokers and employer clients with web functionality and promote usage.
  • Represent the retirement fund business, addressing related gaps and concerns.

Education and Experience
  • Wealth Management / Financial Planning / NQF level 5 or similar qualification is advantageous.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Employee Benefits, Retirement Funds, Umbrella Funds.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Retirement Fund and Umbrella Fund operations, accounting, investments.
  • Full compliance and legislative knowledge related to employee benefits, FAIS, and Umbrella Funds.
