Job description

Loadit is seeking a Transport Supervisor on a contract basis with variable hours, with the potential for a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure customer and driver satisfaction
2. Allocate appropriate drivers to customer jobs promptly
3. Resolve customer and driver issues
4. Complete administrative tasks related to transport jobs, such as invoicing and price adjustments
5. Contribute to Loadit's growth and profitability

Job Requirements:

1. Full-time position
2. 5 days a week, including weekends

Education:

1. Matric with passing grade in pure maths
2. Diploma or degree in transport, logistics, or industrial engineering; minimum second year if still studying, preferably completed by the end of the course

Skills:

1. Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
2. High emotional intelligence (EQ)
3. Strong problem-solving skills
4. Good mathematical skills

Experience:

1. Road transport experience is advantageous but not essential
2. Proven planning and organizational skills

Location:

Based in Johannesburg, with the ability to work remotely with good connectivity. Must have access to a smartphone and internet. Ability to commute to Rosebank for initial training and meetings.
