About the Role

We have multiple opportunities within our Guidewire / Insurance team. As a Guidewire Developer, you will participate in business requirements discussions, review meetings, and design solutions for Guidewire projects. You will estimate development efforts, implement solutions, and ensure quality through testing and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality software solutions following Guidewire best practices.
  • Create test data and unit tests to verify requirements.
  • Perform defect fixes during testing phases.
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
  • Prepare software releases and participate in agile ceremonies.
  • Lead proofs of concept for new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team improvements.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • At least 2 years in the insurance domain, preferably Property & Casualty / General Insurance.
  • 2+ years of experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Digital Portals).
  • Proficiency in GOSU, Java, Web Services, XML, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Experience with configuration management and ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile and SDLC processes is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Client-facing experience and design skills.
  • Azure/AWS cloud experience.
  • Guidewire Certification.
