Human Resources Business Partner

We're looking to hire a passionate, energetic, experienced, and motivated Human Resources Business Partner to partner with different departments on their HR needs. The role involves sourcing and securing new team members, leading non-product training and development initiatives, and maturing the Human Resources function in partnership with the business.

The candidate will ensure efficient HR administration in line with South Africa's labour legislation and best practices, moderate employee issues, engage daily with employees to build motivation and cultural alignment, coach leaders on management practices, and advocate for employees with leadership.

Responsibilities
  1. Effectively manage human capital
  2. Partner with business units to understand and address HR needs
  3. Recommend policies and procedures for continual improvement
  4. Manage HR administration and tasks
  5. Monitor employee engagement and proactively engage with employees
  6. Support leadership with HR and talent strategies, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning
  7. Provide guidance on complex issues, investigations, and terminations
  8. Manage talent acquisition processes
  9. Research and propose competitive compensation and benefits programs
  10. Create learning and development initiatives
  11. Oversee employee disciplinary actions and investigations
  12. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  13. Conduct new employee orientations
  14. Maintain alignment with company's mission, vision, and culture
  15. Manage the social committee in line with company culture
  16. Stay updated on HR trends and legal changes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years HR management experience
  • Experience in SaaS industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
