Innovative designer of electronic products seeks an Electrical Engineer to join their electrical design team (involved in power backup and renewable energy systems).

Based in Paarl.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in system design, project execution, and sign-off of renewable energy systems.

Requirements include:

1. B. Sc / B.Eng in Electrical Engineering
2. Registration or registration eligibility as Pr. Eng with ECSA
3. Approximately 4 years of experience in renewable energy system design and project management
4. Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid energy systems
5. Proficiency in electrical design software, 2D/3D CAD, Helioscope
6. Familiarity with local electrical regulations, safety standards, and certification requirements

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing technical designs for electrical projects and renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
2. Assisting in preparing technical and commercial proposals for clients
3. Overseeing the execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
4. Supervising installation processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations
5. Conducting final system inspections, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with local regulations
6. Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients for seamless project execution
