Retail Pharmacy Technician Position - Seven Springs Toowoomba

An exciting new Retail Pharmacy Technician position is available at Ramsay Pharmacy in Seven Springs Toowoomba. This is a permanent full-time position on a rotating roster, including weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurate checking of inward goods against supplier invoice and goods receipting
• Accurate placement of received goods in dispensary, including refrigerated items
• Maintain accurate barcode and location lists in the dispensary and ward imprests, with proper labelling on shelves
• Participate in stock takes
• Monitor expiry dates and review stock levels in the dispensary and ward imprests
• Manage pharmaceutical waste and packaging materials accurately
• Stay up-to-date with PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy/dispensary
• Provide specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers

Candidate Attributes and Experience

• A Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent experience
• Good computer literacy, including dispensing software and Microsoft Office 365
• Exemplary customer service ethic
• High attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in retail pharmacy is highly desirable but not essential
• Focus on customer service with enthusiasm and energy

Mandatory Requirements

• Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
• A recent national police check (within the last 12 months)
