Warehouse Inventory Clerk
The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing inventory and materials across facilities, ensuring accurate processing, storage, and documentation. Key duties include:
- Moving inventory and materials across facilities
- Processing inventory for delivery
- Sorting, organizing, and storing inventory correctly
- Packaging items and labeling them accurately
- Reporting damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Stacking and organizing large bulk items
- Updating logs and documentation for inventory processing
- Conducting routine warehouse cleaning tasks
- Monitoring and managing inventory control to meet quality standards for audits
- Handling delicate and sensitive products carefully
- Operating necessary tools and accessories in line with SOPs
- Following quality service standards and compliance procedures
- Performing daily cycle counts and resolving discrepancies with the Inventory Clerk
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
- 1-2 years of administration experience in a mid-size organization (Essential)
- Willing to work overtime and 24-hour shifts (Essential)
- Knowledge of warehousing standards
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask
Preferred Certifications and Knowledge
- Warehouse Training certification (Advantageous)
- Dangerous goods and Aircraft spares packing certifications (Advantageous)
- Knowledge of ERP system (Advantageous)
