Our Johannesburg Sable Study Abroad department is looking to add a Study Abroad Adviser to their team.

This department provides student placement services to universities in Australia, Canada, USA, UK, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ireland, Cyprus, Sweden, and Mauritius.

1. Have previous relevant industry experience
2. Have a diploma or degree, preferably
3. Possess key customer service and sales skills
4. Are able to take initiative, be self-motivated, and proactive
5. Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with international clients and partners
6. Are computer literate, proficient in typing, and experienced with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
7. Have excellent reporting skills

Your role and responsibilities:

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and forecasting to ensure targets are achieved
2. Qualifying students academically and financially
3. Building lead generation for new student acquisition
4. Working alongside the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies
5. Advising and consulting with learners and prospective students, supporting their entire student journey
6. Maintaining relationships with university partners, schools, teachers, parents, partner agents, and students
7. Staying abreast of product knowledge to effectively market products and consult students
8. Developing new partner agent channels
9. Data capturing onto CRM system and related administrative duties
10. Performing ad hoc sales-related duties
