Experience / Knowledge / Skills / Attributes Required :

  • Proof of billings for the last year (current)
  • At least 5 years of experience as a sales representative in a service industry, with a minimum of 3 consecutive years in the clearing and forwarding industry
  • Strong BDM and Sales experience within the Freight and Logistics industry / "High Rollers"
  • Understanding of International Trade principles & practice
  • Knowledge of external business environment
  • Familiarity with company service charge rates, tariff calculation concepts, and company terms of payment
  • Understanding of carrier & depot conditions of trade
  • Knowledge of national currencies and international codes, including INCO Terms
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business opportunism and proactive approach
  • Presentation & negotiation skills
  • Client/service orientation, situation analysis, and problem-solving abilities
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Interpersonal sensitivity

  • Cost freight movements and prepare service estimates
  • Ensure compliance with the quality management system
