Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to head our Plant Maintenance division of our Business.

This person would operate at the EXCO level in the business and would be responsible for leading our Maintenance Business, with a specific focus on plant and equipment in coal-fired power stations and petrochemical plants.

The role involves implementing a strategic business plan that includes business development and the execution of maintenance contracts.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power station operations.
2. Plan and oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
3. Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
5. Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
7. Manage the maintenance budget and control costs effectively.
8. Implement and maintain maintenance management systems and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in maintenance management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the technical aspects of power station plant and equipment maintenance and operations.
• Proven experience in planning and executing maintenance operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing maintenance operations in the energy and/or petrochemical sectors.
• Knowledge of asset care and maintenance international standards (e.g., ISO).
