Outbound Sales Executive (LED Lighting) – Johannesburg.

Do you have a passion for generating new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to potential clients in commercial and industrial sectors?

Our National client, a leader in their field, based in Midrand, is seeking a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a strong understanding of the lighting industry.

An existing customer base will be assigned – high commission earning potential.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric plus 3 years sales experience calling on wholesalers, hardware stores and electrical contractors offering a range of various products
  • Sales of LED lighting experience highly advantageous
  • Computer literate
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Excellent customer service
  • Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Ability to function independently and without supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer centric
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical ability and a positive outlook
  • Good organizational time management skills and attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing sales portfolio calling on existing clients and sourcing new business opportunities
  • Promote marketing as and when needed to increase contacts
  • Prospecting for new contacts and looking at opportunities to gain new clients
  • Following up from leads from social media
  • Negotiating and quotations
  • Closing of sales
  • Evaluating and advising on client’s requirements
  • Follow up on wholesalers on requests and leads
  • Managing Promotions and breakfast runs and any other marketing initiatives that are introduced
  • Excellent after care service offering
  • Resolving any problems or queries that arise
  • General administration duties
