Job Specification / Requirements

1. Safety & Housekeeping
   • Comply with the requirements of Safety, Health, and Environment Standards and Procedures.
   • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment, free of spillages or obstacles.
   • Monitor and adhere to Safal Steel maintenance standards, working manuals, instructions, and procedures.
2. Equipment Operations & Maintenance
   • Perform various repair jobs that do not always require the attention of the Artisan.
   • Perform minor repairs on plant equipment as instructed.
   • Assist in maintenance activities under the guidance of the Electrician/Senior Electrician.
3. Stakeholder Management
   • Continuously report observed defects and deviations from standard maintenance parameters to the Shift Electrician/Senior Electrician.

Education / Qualification & Experience

1. Grade 12 with an Electrical Engineering qualification and Trade Tested Electrician (Red Seal from an approved training centre).
2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.
3. Relevant engineering or technical job experience.
