Job description

Job Title: Qualified Electrician

We are seeking a qualified electrician with the following qualifications and experience:

1. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
2. Preferably with SCADA & PLC experience.
3. Well experienced in industrial plants, performing installations, maintenance, fault finding, and corrective activities.
4. Ability to attend to call-outs in emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance activities for all EC&I items on site, ensuring high-quality installations and workmanship.
2. Maintain P&ID diagrams, focusing on EC&I.
3. Label, route, and install EC&I cables according to standards.
4. Inspect, calibrate, service, repair, and replace instrumentation.
5. Interface EC&I with PLC and SCADA systems.
6. Log job card tasks related to PLC and SCADA programming needs.
7. Use OSTicket system for job cards, ensuring clarity and precision.
8. Review and amend existing EC&I maintenance schedules.
9. Develop and maintain critical spares and tool lists.
10. Perform other EC&I relevant tasks as required.

Salary and Benefits:

R35,000 CTC

Pension fund options with employee contributions of 2.5%, 4%, or 6%, matched by the company.

15 days of annual leave, increasing to 20 days after 3 years of service.
