Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

In conjunction with the business strategy set by the Divisional Business Manager and Operations Manager, visit scheduled audit sites communicated by the planners to assess site conditions according to the provided audit standards. Determine compliance or non-compliance, complete site visit reports, sample food products, and take environmental food contact surface swabs for microbiological analysis, submitting samples to the laboratory as per SOPs and business procedures. Provide necessary pre- and post-audit support related to all audit activities and report writing.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Visit scheduled assessment sites for assessment and sampling as per the audit schedule.
  • Conduct site assessments and sampling in compliance with global SOP policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties in accordance with SGS Statement of Integrity, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Prepare accurate assessment reports after visits and upload them to the audit platform.
  • Respond to customer complaints and queries during and after assessments.
  • Retain sufficient audit evidence for future reference.
  • Participate in audit conferences, calibration, or training sessions.
  • Meet company and client KPI requirements, including report turnaround times.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in food science, quality, or related discipline.
  • Food safety training or auditor qualification (not mandatory).
  • Internal training such as CATS and TOTAL Auditor Training.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of regulatory food safety laws applicable to the retail country.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in food industry consulting, working, or auditing.
  • At least 6 months experience in food safety/hygiene audits.
  • Strong background in service industry, client and supplier liaison.
