A new vacancy is available for a Junior HR & Payroll Administrator for our client in the Chemical and Hygiene Industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
This role involves payroll processing for a company with three divisions, along with HR administrative support and communication duties.
Requirements
- Office Support and Communication
- Assist with procurement of HR consumables and office items.
- Maintain up-to-date filing systems accessible to others.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite for communication and documentation.
- Support effective stakeholder communication through meetings and minute-taking.
- Assist with translation and circulation of notices, and maintain notice boards.
Payroll Data Administration- Assist with payroll processing for approximately employees.
- Support monthly payroll and attendance management system updates.
- Manage employee data, liaise with staff on queries, and correct clock data when necessary.
Human Resources Administration- Maintain employee files, both paper and electronic.
- Support discipline, performance, and HR-related meetings, including scheduling and minute-taking.
- Coordinate training arrangements and support health and safety administration, including IOD processes.
Statutory and Legislative Compliance- Assist with mandated documentation such as SETA and UI19 correspondence.
Recruitment and Onboarding- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, application collation, and interview scheduling.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation and procedures.
HR Reports and Administration- Support HR reporting and data management, including demographic and leave data.
Experience and Qualifications- Proficiency in Zulu (written and verbal) is essential.
- At least one year of experience in a similar HR or payroll role.
- Relevant payroll certification or diploma is advantageous.
- Knowledge of payroll systems (preferably SAGE), ESS, E-filing, and Easyfile.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of SARS, UIF, WCA systems, and Bargaining Council procedures.
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Strong mathematical, organizational, and multitasking skills; ability to meet deadlines.
- Bilingual in English and Zulu.
