Qualifications and Skills

• Matric, Electrical Qualification / B Tech or similar (must have practical experience)
• Qualified Installation Electrician with Wiremans License
• Strong administrative skills
• Management Development programme will be advantageous
• Valid Unendorsed Code 8 driver’s License
• Electrical & Solar systems and installation experience
• Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of electrical design and maintenance processes
• Excellent self-management skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the product and suppliers are of high quality
• Oversee projects and ensure high quality standards are met
• Ensure the Company complies with Health & Safety standards
• Install solar panels and systems
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Negotiate the best deals for pricing and supply contracts
• Perform solar/electrical tasks and projects as required
• Work with team members to complete duties as needed
• Identify and resolve electrical faults
• Ensure installations meet safety standards and codes
• Troubleshoot and repair solar panel faults
• Manage projects from initiation to handover with clients
