Influencer Content Manager Job Description
The Influencer Content Manager supports the Lead Strategist and Content Strategy Director in delivering innovative influencer marketing strategies for dentsu clients.
This role focuses on developing creative campaign concepts aligned with key KPIs through engaging content angles and messaging, executed by influencers.
As a key team member, this position fosters internal and external collaboration with clients and partners, ensuring seamless execution and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Development & Execution
- Define and implement campaign vetting criteria, curate lookbooks with minimal oversight, and present foundational campaign ideas to clients.
- Develop targeted channel recommendations tailored to each client's goals and audience.
- Conceptualize influencer-driven ideas based on insights, creative strategy, and data (audience demographics, cultural trends, etc.) to secure client buy-in.
- Brainstorm and create innovative ways to cut through digital noise, maximizing campaign impact and engaging key bloggers and online influencers.
- Proactively optimize ongoing campaigns and forecast potential issues, communicating concerns to the manager for swift resolution.
- Ensure all strategies are creative, effective, and measurable, with clearly defined KPIs.
- Lead the execution and management of influencer marketing campaigns from ideation to completion, ensuring quality and alignment with objectives.
Collaboration & Reporting- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define KPIs and build comprehensive reports, summarizing campaign performance and results.
- Develop and present campaign results, highlighting key insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Identify and respond to emerging risks and opportunities, providing strategic guidance as needed.
- Contribute to campaign-related award entries, including drafting scripts and content.
Creative & Content Strategy- Oversee content quality across all stages, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback on creative briefs, influencer content, and collaboration processes to enhance campaign performance.
- Identify opportunities for content creation and strategy expansion, proactively suggesting ideas with senior team members.
Content Review & Copy Editing- Review influencer-generated content for accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors.
- Ensure content maintains the correct tone, voice, and structure as per campaign brief, brand guidelines, and creative direction.
- Guarantee influencer content aligns with the campaign brief and meets standards for both text and creative submissions.
- Ensure content is consistent with brand guidelines and the playbook.
- Provide copywriting support for various brands across social channels, ensuring content resonates with target audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in influencer marketing, content strategy, or related fields.
- Strong creative thinking with a data-driven approach to campaign development and optimization.
- Deep understanding of social media channels and influencer networks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and content review skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to sell creative ideas to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
