Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Case Manager with a strong background in South African immigration law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience managing immigration cases and providing strategic advice to clients. This role requires a detail-oriented, client-focused professional who can navigate complex immigration processes with confidence and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in South African immigration law.

  • Proven track record of consulting in immigration matters (corporate or individual clients).
  • Strong understanding of immigration compliance, procedures, and legal frameworks in South Africa.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and case management software.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Immigration Studies, or related field (LLB preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in a legal or immigration consultancy environment.

  • Knowledge of corporate immigration strategies and global mobility practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end immigration casework for individuals and corporate clients.
  • Provide expert advice and consulting on South African visa categories, permanent residence, work permits, waivers, and compliance matters.
  • Prepare and review immigration applications, supporting documents, and legal correspondence.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of South African immigration legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Liaise with government departments, including the Department of Home Affairs.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and status tracking of client files and submissions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive case updates.
  • Train and support junior staff or team members as needed.
