Responsibilities

1. Lead a high-performing cross-functional team of BAs, Developers, and Testers to execute business-critical IT projects.
2. Own delivery performance, stakeholder engagement, budget management (~R10M), and team capacity planning while shaping agile maturity and driving value.
3. End-to-end agile delivery of IT systems and enhancements across business units.
4. Planning and execution of project and BAU initiatives with measurable outcomes.
5. Team development, coaching, recruitment, and succession planning.
6. Vendor and stakeholder management with accountability for SLA performance.
7. Facilitate agile ceremonies, SCRUM rituals, and DevOps alignment.
8. Budgeting, financial oversight, and cost optimisation across delivery efforts.
9. Technical risk mitigation, performance monitoring, and escalation management.
10. Governance, compliance, and reporting on delivery metrics and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in IT or Business; certifications in Agile (CSM, CSP, SAFe) preferred.
• 5+ years in senior IT leadership, with deep experience in multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of full stack development, DevOps, and cloud platforms.
• Proven success in stakeholder engagement at C-suite level.
• Deep expertise in agile planning, financial control, performance management, and vendor relations.
• Passion for team development, agile coaching, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with modern technologies such as AI / ML and data governance frameworks.
