Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Managing business investment planning, financial justification, implementation, and performance management.
  2. Managing and overseeing production.
  3. Managing logistics and supply chain operations.
  4. Handling negotiations with shop floor/union representatives, customers, suppliers, and contracts, including warranties.
  5. Implementing quality management systems.
  6. Managing financial planning, cost and budgetary control, administration processes, and total cost of ownership.
  7. Developing e-commerce and IT strategies.
  8. Identifying and developing new markets.
  9. Developing service and support products.
  10. Increasing market share through the identification of new niches, applications, and products.
  11. Carrying out market research and competitor intelligence analysis.
  12. Managing capital sales, including identifying opportunities, tender processing, costing and pricing, presentations, proposals, and objection handling.
  13. Managing projects and supervising system implementations.
  14. Overseeing technology planning and product development.
  15. Controlling and growing the existing client base.
  16. Managing client education, liaison, and query resolution.
  17. Managing multiple manufacturing centers.
  18. Establishing lean manufacturing practices for selected products.
  19. Implementing Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).
  20. Participating in union negotiations.
