Position Overview

A leading organisation in the financial services sector is seeking a Senior Capital Markets Strategist to drive market microstructure design, research, and analytics across multiple asset classes.

This role plays a central part in defining how markets operate and evolve - locally and globally.

Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic insight on market structure dynamics in South Africa and abroad
2. Conduct market microstructure research and benchmarking to inform trading patterns and liquidity strategies
3. Develop and maintain analytics assets including databases, code repositories, and reporting tools
4. Analyse data to support the design of execution functionality and contribute to revenue generation
5. Profile and rank clients by activity and revenue to identify business development opportunities

Requirements
