Job Title: Applications and Integration Security

Role Overview:

Our client seeks strategic technical leadership and expert guidance within the Applications and Integration Security function. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Bank’s business applications adhere to the highest standards of security.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design and implementation of secure software development practices across business applications.
  2. Support integration security efforts, ensuring alignment with cloud, DevOps, and enterprise architecture standards.
  3. Drive secure coding, threat modelling, and vulnerability management across all SDLC stages.
  4. Provide technical direction on emerging risks, cloud security, and cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Honours degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. Certified Applications Security Engineer (CASE).
  3. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  4. 8–10 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) frameworks.
  5. Proven experience in secure coding, threat modelling, and managing vulnerabilities across enterprise systems.
  6. Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP.
  7. Proficient in programming languages including Java, Python, and C#, along with modern web technologies.
  8. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and technologies such as AWS and Azure.
  9. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  10. Solid grounding in cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
