BSL Teaching Assistant
Are you a passionate and committed BSL Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 1, 2 or 3?
Or perhaps you have your BSL and would like to put it into practice by supporting children in a school setting?
Do you have a passion and skills for supporting the hearing impaired?
The BSL Teaching Assistant will work closely with a student who is hearing impaired, providing individual support and assisting in small group work with other students aged 4 - 16 years with various special needs in a purpose-built school.
The school prefers a BSL Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 2 or 3 or substantial experience in the field. The role involves liaising with parents and outside agencies, requiring an excellent communicator, forward thinker, and independent worker.
