The purpose of the Solution Sales Specialist at Rectron is to drive sales of Rectron's key cloud and software brands.
The individual will be responsible for actively finding new resellers and increasing sales to existing resellers.
This role also serves as the quote desk for the RCT-Cloud team.
With a focus on growing cloud business, the individual must proactively manage the recurring and renewals pipeline.
Regular training through available portals is required to succeed in this role.Primary ObjectivesTargets & ReviewsMeet set targets across profitability, reseller recruitment, and reach across all product linesSalesRecruit new resellers for the RCT-Cloud stackEngage with new and dormant resellersRespond promptly and accurately to quotesCollaborate with existing resellers to identify new cloud opportunitiesClose renewal and recurring sales, utilizing vendor toolsAssist colleagues nationwide with quote requestsSet realistic service delivery deadlines with customersSell across the RCT-Cloud solution stackSupport customers with support queriesAct as the internal team for business development specialistsProactively quote for renewals and recurring billings, tracked via provided information and toolsAdministrative & PlanningMaintain up-to-date records in CRM systems weeklySubmit bi-weekly activity reports detailing deals, wins, and challengesTrack contribution towards GP targets and reseller reachDevelop account plans with the manager to grow the businessTeam AccountabilityAssist colleagues proactivelyNominate a backup team memberRaise and resolve issues collaborativelyTeam CollaborationUpskill sales team members in cloud / software solutionsAssist team members as neededEngage with broader teams to identify opportunitiesRectron EventsAssist in event executionFollow up on leads from eventsTrainingComplete vendor portal training proactivelyProvide quarterly feedback on training progressAttend training sessions (online and in-person)Stay updated on vendor roadmaps via shared or public sourcesGeneral ResponsibilitiesMaintain broad product knowledge for effective reseller conversationsReport issues to managementComplete work tasks as assignedQualificationsMinimum Matric qualificationTechnical or business degree / diploma is advantageousCompletion of certified Microsoft, Bitdefender, or Acronis exams is advantageousExperienceOver 3 years in an internal sales environmentExperience with cloud / software solutions is a plusProven success in achieving targetsSkills & CompetenciesEffective communicationOrganization & self-managementProblem-solving skillsSales and pipeline managementProficiency in Microsoft Office
