Job Title: Office Administrator
A well-established company on the East Rand is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Experience with Pastel is advantageous
Duties:
Office Administration:
- Manage phone calls, screen, redirect, and take messages for distribution
- Handle procurement of office supplies and other necessities, including grocery shopping
- Maintain and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes, notices, and correspondence
- Organize and distribute mail
- Maintain and update Material Data Sheets
- Manage Debtors and Creditors records and related communications
Marketing and Sales:
- Submit applications to the DTI for international trade fairs
- Coordinate logistics for local and international trade shows
- Plan and execute mid-year customer PR activities and gifts
- Coordinate company functions and events
- Distribute updated pricing structures
- Support the marketing department secretarially
- Assist with tender documentation
Logistics:
- Coordinate local collections, deliveries, and rentals
- Manage sample deliveries and maintain the sample register
- Oversee vehicle servicing, repairs, and license renewals
- Organize staff uniforms and schedule vehicle/forklift maintenance
Personal Assistant Responsibilities:
- Arrange travel for Directors
- Schedule meetings and take minutes
- Distribute staff notices and manage company cell contracts
- Maintain the company website
- Handle GRVs and DNs, submit insurance claims
