Job Description

Performs routine administrative duties such as drafting correspondences, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining data, as well as assisting internal and external stakeholders.

This role utilises expert knowledge in the specific fields of administration, product, or process to resolve technical and complex problems, usually in support of administrative queries or issues. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

  • This role functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of administration, product, or process.
  • Acts as a point of escalation for matters with a higher level of complexity than those handled by Administration Specialists.
  • Acts as a consultant regarding decision-making of operational and tactical importance (typically deliverables are part of level three plans).
  • May act as an expert resource on major projects or be accountable for the delivery of projects within the division or business unit.
  • May act as a coach for Specialist staff.
  • Often consulted for system enhancements.
  • Could be accountable for major administration processes and the project management thereof (usually with an extended timeline in excess of a month).
  • Engages with employer relationships to build, retain, and maintain connections.
  • Supports all Distribution Channels regarding escalation issues, business updates at pay offices, and responding to deduction inquiries.
  • Handles Premium Collection activities: Billing, Collection, Allocation, and Reconciliation (RMM and PF).
  • Prepares Management Reports.
  • Drives the implementation of New Business to improve FAC and reduce NTU.
  • Enhances process efficiencies and pay office operations.
  • Manages exceptions effectively.
  • Initiates processes and manages client requests across different platforms while adhering to productivity standards.
  • Manages own time, tasks, and quality of output, typically over periods of 1 day to 3 months.
  • Continuously improves knowledge and competencies through self-study and available learning opportunities.
  • Complies with procedures and understands the risks associated with decisions.
  • Owns accountability for personal performance and career development.
  • Contributes to the overall team effectiveness and success.
  • Maintains adaptability to changing business and customer needs.
  • Knowledge of Hyphen vantage system is advantageous.
