Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Property Financier to provide strategic direction, lead the implementation of business strategy, and build the CPF franchise across the corporate segments.

The successful candidate will leverage internal capabilities to deliver products to clients, broaden touchpoints and engagement levels, and develop the portfolio by increasing wallet share and expanding ancillary offerings to existing and new customers.

The ideal candidate will have a commercial degree or equivalent and 7 to 10 years of senior banking experience in Commercial Property Finance.

Strong business development, client relationship management, and technical financial skills are essential.

Job Description
  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance and broaden the regional CPF value proposition, service, delivery, and client engagement in line with the overall strategy.
  2. Drive and monitor regional market share, customer retention, growth, satisfaction, and profitability.
  3. Communicate the regional strategy to the regional banking leadership team and ensure deep understanding across the organization.
  4. Build strong, collaborative relationships with regional Coverage Heads and peers to devise optimal solutions within risk appetite.
  5. Deliver high-quality customer experiences with leadership responsibility for a team.
  6. Proactively anticipate, respond to, and exceed customer expectations.
  7. Lead evaluation and execution of property finance transactions.
  8. Manage and develop internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  9. Achieve annual financial targets in collaboration with the local coverage teams.
  10. Build and maintain excellent relationships with the Credit team to ensure comprehensive solutioning.
  11. Ensure consistent delivery of excellent service, meeting ongoing customer needs while managing costs and risks, including conduct and credit risks, and ensuring compliance.
  12. Act as sector expert for real estate debt finance, developing a network to maximize opportunities and deepen market knowledge of pricing, structures, and covenants.
  13. Present confidently to clients and utilize expert presentation skills to promote the bank when pitching for new business.
  14. Lead marketing, media liaison, and client relationship initiatives within the region.
  15. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the commercial and residential property markets in the region.
  16. Collaborate with Marketing to enhance the bank's profile externally.
Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies are required.
