Job description

Job Overview : We're looking for an energetic and skilled Computer Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support to our client.

You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain networks, and ensure our systems operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for PCs and peripherals.
  2. Provide support for Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, and other Microsoft products.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot local and wide area networks (LAN / WAN).
  4. Assist users with technical queries, ensuring clear communication and timely resolutions.
  5. Perform system upgrades, installations, and maintenance to optimize performance.
  6. Document support activities and contribute to IT knowledge base.

Requirements :

  1. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  2. Energetic Attitude: Enthusiastic and proactive approach to tackling challenges and supporting users.
  3. Network Knowledge: Understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting (e.g., TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).
  4. Microsoft Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (10 / 11), Office, and related tools.
  5. PC Knowledge: Hands-on experience with PC hardware, software installation, and maintenance.
  6. Education / Experience: Formal qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience (1-3 years in IT support).
  7. Bonus Skills: Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified professional are a plus.
