Job description

Requirements :
  • MBChB or equivalent. A valid registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Medical Practitioner.
  • RECOMMENDATIONS: Experience in the management of Paediatric and Neonatal ICU patients, APLS/PALS certification. Diploma in Child Health, FCPaed Part 1.
Duties :
  • Render services in the Paediatric Department.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to clinical services.
  • Provide undergraduate teaching and assist in research projects of the Department.
  • Perform other call duties as required by the Department of Paediatrics.
Notes :
  • These positions will be joint appointments between the Gauteng Department of Health and the following academic institutions: University of Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria, and Sefako Makgatho University.
