Job description

LeadSquared is looking for Presales Solution Consultant, who will work in close collaboration with sales team to create solutions and drive business closures. This role is very critical as it will directly impact sales, revenue, customer acquisition and customer satisfaction. You will assist customers with questions and suggest the best features/setup for their needs. This individual will promote the value of the product among customers upsell/cross-sell and drive post-sales MRR growth. This person will triage customer support tickets to the relevant internal team members, ensuring quick resolution and best-in-class customer experience to ensure zero churn. This is a crucial role in our South Africa team and this individual will be responsible for driving customer success by building relationships with customers, as they transition from sales to the support stage. This role will drive the expansion of the penetration and future growth. Success in this role is defined by an overall decrease in client churn and an increase in customer satisfaction, happiness, and product utilisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • deliver a high-quality experience to the prospects & customers during engagement, acquisition, and onboarding.
  • and demonstrate end-to-end product capabilities to all required point-of-contacts at prospect’s / customer’s end.
  • Solution Document / Business Proposals, respond to RFQs/RFPs and create quick proof-of-concepts / custom demos / integrations to help sales team negotiate contracts and drive deal closures.
  • the software and tools’ ecosystem of each prospect/customer and come up with most optimal ways of connecting LeadSquared to them.
  • the customer needs and arrive at the best solution via close collaboration with client’s POCs, sales team, product/technology team, delivery team and partner teams, as required.
  • thorough understanding of the product/platform and continuously learn from new product updates and pitch them appropriately to the clients, based on their requirements.
  • continuous knowledge of competition landscape and their offerings across all required domains and regions.
  • continuous feedback to product development / delivery team / sales team w.r.t. new trends / solution expectation from the customer sides based on market demand / research.
  • engagement with technology, delivery, partners, and 3rd party technology vendors to drive innovations and enhancements to product / platform, thereby creating new opportunities for up-sell / cross-sell across various domains / business verticals and across all regions.
  • best practices and drive process efficiencies / automations & technology innovations.
  • aim to become the solution expert and go-to-person for the regional sales team to provide solutions to cater to various customer demands and business needs.
  • strong relationships with clients & partners and continuously explore upsell / cross-sell opportunities for LeadSquared product or services with them, in close collaboration with Sales Team / Customer Success Team.
  • actively and deliver Knowledge Sharing Sessions & Trainings to internal teams / partners.

Requirements

  • importantly, we are looking for applicants who have at least, 5+ years of work experience in any SaaS CRM company, specifically in strategic sales, key account management and customer success teams.
  • is essential that you have competitive pitching experience, giving you the gravitas, sophistication, and problem-solving skills that only experience would give you.
  • have experience conducting business in South Africa.
  • comfortable dealing with C-Suite through to business users.
  • are commercially astute, strong discipline and a structured approach and have strong negotiation skills with experience in contract negotiation and closing deals with significant contract values.
  • analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • thinker with a proactive and forward-looking approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • history of effective client management and sales accomplishments, highlighting expertise in complex solution sales, and consistently meeting targets.
  • are credible, confident, and able to talk meaningfully with Senior Leadership Teams.

  • in B.Tech(preferably CS), B.E., MCA or M.Tech. MBA (Sales / Marketing / Finance). Data science / statistics background would be a plus.
  • years of experience in solution architect/Presale’s role.
  • written and verbal communication (English) skills.
  • presentation and demonstration skills, addressing all key pain points of the client at hand.
  • degree of expertise in making presentations / proposals and contracts with good commercial sense.
  • aptitude, critical thinking skills, and quick prototyping / proof-of-concept-creation skills.
  • have good exposure and experience w.r.t creating business / commercial proposals and responding to RFQs / RFPs etc.
  • be passionate about customer-facing roles.
  • be comfortable travelling to face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • to grasp new technologies and drive executions quickly.
  • & Experience in SaaS, CRM Tools, Sales & Marketing Tools, Cloud/AWS would be a plus.
  • understanding of how cloud-based platforms/applications are delivered and consumed.
  • understanding of unique features and challenges of SaaS applications (web and mobile)
  • of software tools and technologies, prevalent in the BFSI sector and how they get integrated would-be a plus.
  • be focussed on delivering results with quality and possess ability to multi-task.
  • have excellent work ethics and be a wonderful team player and collaborator.
  • of latest tools, technologies and innovations is equally important, e.g., knowledge of bots, AI/ML, Propensity, etc. would be a plus.
  • on experience as a programmer (in any language - web/mobile development) would be a plus.
  • critical thinking skills would a plus.
  • stint in start-up / early-stage organisation would be a plus.
