Join Our Team as a Short Term Sales Consultant (Commercial Lines) at PPS

We are seeking a dedicated Short Term Sales Consultant to market and sell PPS's Short Term insurance products to eligible members through inbound and outbound channels, with the goal of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage actively with short term insurance brokers and clients to assist with quotes.
  2. Contact brokers and clients for quotes and assistance.
  3. Compare quotations with existing policies.
  4. Follow up on leads and quotes.
  5. Record feedback and reasons for all interactions.
  6. Achieve sales and premium targets.
  7. Maintain a positive professional image of PPS.
  8. Handle sales inquiries via telephone.
  9. Update call outcomes and follow-up actions in the system.
  10. Stay informed on industry trends through self-learning.
  11. Ensure compliance with FAIS qualification requirements.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • FAIS credits
  • RE qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in short term insurance sales
  • Call centre experience
  • Outbound sales experience
  • Broker relationships experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the graduate professional client market dynamics
  • Knowledge of best practices in Short Term insurance
  • Technical knowledge of Short-Term insurance products
  • Awareness of TCF principles and delivering consistent advice and service to mitigate reputational risk
