Job Description

To interpret the business requirement specification and translate it into a detailed system design specification to enable the development of innovative, flexible, and efficient solutions for business problems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of specialists.
  • Explore ways to improve quality, processes, and systems for efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive and innovative solutions.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff, providing input to validate business requirements.
  • Communicate system requirements to relevant audiences such as testers, developers, business analysts, infrastructure, and support teams.
  • Define and document system functions, boundaries, interactions, and integration constraints to meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with IT development steps, legislative, and audit requirements.
  • Analyze system requirements, perform impact assessments, and maintain documentation with rationale, effort, decisions, dependencies, and assumptions.
  • Manage traceability between requirements, artifacts, and test scenarios.
  • Ensure thorough testing of configurations and developments, achieving acceptable performance levels.
  • Manage scope changes in projects.
  • Continuously evaluate personal performance, seek feedback, and pursue training as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of sharing successes, issues, and ideas.
  • Plan and manage team performance, skills development, and employment equity to foster innovation and efficiency.
Candidate Profile
  • Certificate or Diploma in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in a similar environment.
