Job description

RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking an OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SECTION MANAGER for a large concern – position based in Richards Bay, Northern KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Grade 12.
  2. Valid driver’s license (Code 08 / 10).
  3. BTech Degree in Occupational Health Nursing.
  4. Degree in Nursing Administration or equivalent.
  5. Certificate in Audiometry, spirometry, dispensary licence.
  6. 5 years management experience in an occupational health environment.
  7. Management Development Program (MDP).
  8. SAMTRAC & SHE Auditing an added advantage.
  9. Working knowledge of procedures followed when dealing with the Compensation Commissioner.
  10. Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  11. Basic ambulance course and dispensing course.
  12. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation.
  13. Knowledge of environmental and health hazards within the workplace.
  14. Manage a comprehensive and effective occupational health programme.
  15. Budget formulation and control.
  16. Comply with legal requirements and RBCT policies and procedures.
  17. Emergency preparedness and business continuity management.
