Sales Consultant

South Africa's leading Waste Management consortium is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company in all integrated waste management solutions, building client relationships, and maintaining/growing the company's services in their allocated geographical area to increase the company's footprint.

The Sales Consultant must ensure that the most appropriate services are sold to meet the client's needs within legislative compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Own car with a valid driver's license

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ensure revenue growth and profitability for the area of responsibility.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets as set out in the annual budgets.
  • Pricing of quotes, tenders, and proposals.
  • Source new business in line with specified sales targets.
  • Support sales targets by submitting sales reports, including forecasts, terminations, clean-ups, new business, pipeline, and existing business.
  • Ensure all proposals and contracts comply with company and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure that the sale of services meets EnviroServ's terms and conditions and DSO targets.
  • Gather market and competitor information to assist in establishing market trends and developments.
  • Be aware of potential competitor activity.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all services offered by EnviroServ.
  • Visit client base in line with call cycle requirements set by management.
  • Conduct ongoing cold calling to actively grow market share as per targets.
  • Present proposals, RFQs, and tenders to clients professionally and accurately.

This position requires joining a fast-paced, target-driven environment and involves significant travel.
