Job description

Overview

Our strategy, The New Equation, focuses on how PwC combines unique talent, technology, and a community of problem-solvers to address key challenges. The core of this strategy is our multidisciplinary model, enabling us to help clients build trust and achieve sustained outcomes through deep expertise across various capabilities.

Governance

Understanding the organisation's context ensures that its cyber security vision is effectively translated into policies, with appropriate structures for decision-making, oversight, and risk management.

Control Effectiveness

Cybersecurity control assessments evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls protecting IT assets, infrastructure, and information. This helps organisations strengthen their security posture through ongoing protection and monitoring.

Threat Intelligence

Threat intelligence involves processes to discover, analyse, and understand cyber threats, with capabilities to share information internally and with relevant third parties.

Implementation

Implementing cybersecurity technologies (e.g., Access Governance, SIEM, DLP) for our clients to defend against cyber threats.

Managed Services

Deploying cyber technologies and supporting clients in managing cybersecurity risks and threats to enhance their defenses.

Incident Response and Resilience

Includes identifying, establishing, and analysing cyber events; prioritising incident containment or mitigation; and escalating information to stakeholders.

We seek candidates with a degree (preferably with honours) in:

  • IT (BSc or BCom)
  • Computer Science
  • Informatics
  • Information Systems Security
