Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a Payroll Administrator on a fixed-term contract for our client in the East of Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

Payroll processing using Sage 300:

• Accurately capturing payroll inputs such as:
• Loading new employees, increases, earnings, deductions, company contributions, absences, and terminations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working in a payroll environment using Sage 300.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• Own transport.

Additional qualifications include a minimum of 4 years of full payroll function experience, including capturing, checking, manual calculations, reconciliations, journals, balancing, reporting, payments, and month-end processes. Experience managing payrolls of over 1000 employees, preferably in mining or construction sectors, and familiarity with Sage 300 or similar electronic payroll systems are essential.
