Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in warehousing or supply chain management.
This role involves leading HR initiatives to support warehousing and supply chain operations, ensuring a skilled workforce, compliance with regulations, and continuous HR practice improvement. The ideal candidate will understand operational needs in these environments and play a key role in recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Workforce Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on warehousing and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify staffing needs and plan for future workforce requirements.
- Maintain workforce planning processes to meet operational demands.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee recruitment for warehousing and supply chain roles, ensuring effective hiring processes.
- Create job descriptions, post openings, and manage candidate pipelines.
- Partner with operations managers to understand role requirements and attract qualified candidates.
- Employee Development & Training:
- Design training programs for warehousing and supply chain teams, focusing on operational procedures, safety, and compliance.
- Identify skill gaps and provide development opportunities, including leadership training.
- Support career advancement initiatives.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Promote open communication, respect, and teamwork.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention and satisfaction.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Work with operations to ensure HR policies comply with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure employee adherence to safety standards and assist in incident investigations.
- Performance Management & Compensation:
- Develop performance management systems with clear expectations and regular reviews.
- Guide management on compensation and benefits to motivate employees.
- Manage employee recognition programs.
- Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry regulations specific to warehousing and logistics.
- Maintain HR policies and handle employee records confidentially.
- HR Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Track HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement.
- Analyze data to provide insights and support management decisions.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' HR management experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- Proven recruitment, employee relations, and performance management experience.
- Strong knowledge of operational processes, safety regulations, and labor laws.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage relationships across organizational levels.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, recruitment software, and MS Office.
