DUR – Chemist (Nelspruit)

Purpose of the Job: To implement and manage all QC and formulation aspects regarding production, ensuring the legal conformity of activities; and that product registrations are aligned with the Technical Manager with regards to the business strategy of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality control and formulation standards.
• Coordinate with the Technical Manager to align product registrations with business strategies.

Required Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Chemistry.

Technical Competencies & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years working/researching experience in the chemistry and/or agriculture industry.
• Driver's license.
• Experience in Laboratory / QC / Production.
• Knowledge of local legislation and legal procedures of Official Bodies.
• Understanding of product application, composition, and effects.
• Ability to provide technical support to field salespeople and develop rapport with customers.
• Planning, organizing, and managing experiments for new and improved product formulations.
• Scheduling and executing product-related projects aligned with company strategies.
• Suggest improvements on formulations, processes, products, or new research lines.
