Job description

Business Administration Apprentice within Finance
Hybrid working from our office in Newcastle Upon Tyne, One Strawberry Lane, and from home.
Full Time (37.5 hours per week) with flexible hours available.
Fixed term: 15 months (with progression into permanent opportunities available).
Hourly Pay between £10.00 to £12.21 (dependent on age).

We have the perfect job for you as our Business Administration apprentice within our Income Management team, part of the finance family here at Home Group.
Typical day as a Business Administration Apprentice
  1. Dealing with both incoming and outgoing post.
  2. Handling queries via email, in person, or by phone.
  3. Posting income received from customers and third parties to our housing system.
  4. Applying rent account adjustments.
  5. Being supported through your Level 2 apprenticeship in Customer Service within an admin role, with dedicated learning time to focus on your course and opportunities to apply your learning daily.

We are a busy team of 24 supporting our customers and each other. We are committed to welcoming new members with support and encouragement. Many of our apprentices have secured permanent positions within the team. Alongside your qualification, you'll receive support from our colleagues to guide you.

Job details

Our award-winning apprenticeship program is designed to help our customers and colleagues start their careers! Don't be put off by the word 'apprentice'—any age can apply. Your wage will be higher than the national apprenticeship minimum. You will be employed for 15 months to gain valuable experience and potentially progress to Level 3. Flexible working hours are available, and this is a hybrid role: 2-3 days in the office and the rest working from home.
