Job description

The ideal person will be a hands-on, Red Seal Electrician with solid industrial experience in PLCs, automation, and FMCG environments. Must be a reliable, self-driven problem-solver who thrives on-site, under pressure, and in sub-zero conditions when needed.

Onsite Working Hours:

• 07h30 - 16h30, Monday to Thursday
• 07h30 - 14h00 on Fridays

Requirements:

• Must reside within 30km of Montague Gardens.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a RED SEAL Electrician.
• PLC experience and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically and medically fit to work in cold environments at -20°C for varying durations.
• Ability to work at heights and read electrical drawings (experience advantageous).
• Willing to work weekends if required.
• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures.
• Capable of administrative tasks such as completing breakdown and planned work reports, inspections, and quotes.
• Ability to complete project work on schedule.
• Experience working with diverse cultural groups.
• Valid Code B driver’s license.
• Valid and updated passport advantageous.
• Clear criminal record.
• Maintenance Electrician / Technician applications will not be accepted.

Duties:

• Site inspections, installations, and repairs.

• Travel as required.
